Vice Foreign Minister of Russia Rejects U.S. Claim

| Moscow, March 27 (KCNA) -- Vice Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Lyavkov in a meeting on March 23 accused the U.S of claiming that it is necessary to establish missile defense system. The U.S. is trying to persuade Russia to establish MD to curb the missile threats from Iran and the DPRK, he said, announcing that Russia does not believe it. The missile defense system currently under establishment has strategically uncertain elements with regard to the regions of deployment and the number of interceptor missiles, he added. |
