City of Ecuador Decides to Award Honorary Citizenship to Three Commanders of Mt. Paektu

| Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- Cuenca City of Azuay Province in Ecuador decided to award honorary citizenship to President Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk in the run-up to the Day of the Sun. A decision on conferring titles on them was published at a meeting of the city government on March 19. The decision said the city decided to register the three commanders of Mt. Peaktu as honorary citizens, genuine example for humankind revered by the world people, in commemoration of the 100th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung. |
