The participants laid a floral basket and bunches of flowers before portraits of the President and General Secretary Kim Jong Il before paying tribute to them.

Prior to the meeting, a seminar on their feats was held. Speeches were made under the titles "What type of man the great President Kim Il Sung was", "On the issue of Korea's reunification, the desire of Comrade Kim Il Sung in his lifetime", "On the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung", "On the Juche idea and Songun politics" and "The idea and cause of Comrade Kim Il Sung, the founder of the DPRK, were developed in depth by the great Comrade Kim Jong Il and will be carried forward by the dear respected Kim Jong Un".

The speakers said the President was a peerlessly patriot and the father of the nation whom the Korean people greeted and held in high esteem for the first time in the history spanning thousands of years and the outstanding statesman recognized by the world.

The revolutionary cause of Juche which was pioneered by the President and led by Kim Jong Il along the ever-victorious road is being steadfastly carried forward by Kim Jong Un, they noted.

The floor was taken by those who had the honor of being received by the President and those related to his revolutionary activities.

Looking back with deep emotion on those unforgettable days when they had the honor of being received by the President, they said they were attracted by his tender-hearted personality and inborn disposition.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.

Then followed a remembrance concert.
