The letter said:

In a message of thanks sent to all the people in the homeland who expressed profound condolences over the demise of General Secretary Kim Jong Il, you extended warm thanks even to the overseas compatriots. Upon receiving such benevolence, we are deeply touched by your immensely great and noble trait.

The Chongryon Central Standing Committee extends the greatest glory and warmest thanks to you who are opening a new chapter of the cause of immortalizing the leader and devoting all your wisdom and energy to building a thriving nation in the homeland, carrying forward and accomplishing the cause of Juche and achieving the victory in the Juche-oriented movement of the Koreans in Japan, reflecting the ardent loyalty and reverence of all the Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan.

The letter renewed the resolution to thoroughly establish the ideological system and leadership system of Kim Jong Un in the organizations of Chongryon and consolidate as firm as a rock the single-minded unity with him as the center of unity and leadership as wished by Kim Jong Il in his lifetime.
