His colleagues did not believe that he would follow the Juche idea.

Boudot became interested in the Juche philosophy while reading the General Secretary Kim Jong Il's famous works "On the Juche Idea" and "On Some Questions in Understanding the Juche Philosophy".

He called for finding out solutions to any ideological and theoretical problems in Kim Jong Il's works, not in classics.

While on a visit to the DPRK, he sent a letter to his colleagues in France, which said: "I earnestly request you to come to the DPRK and learn the Juche idea, bidding farewell to the deep-rooted European arrogance and prejudice against Asia."

He devoted all his mental and physical energy to studying and disseminating the idea in his closing years of life.

He formed the Boudot Association, a Juche idea study organization, in France.

His last words "I will live forever along with the Juche idea" illustrated that the Juche idea was bioactive to him, who had lived as a Christian.
