Present there were figures of all social standings and members of Juche idea study organizations of India and officials of the International Institute of the Juche Idea (IIJI) and the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea (ARIJI). Present there on invitation were the DPRK ambassador to India and staff members of his embassy.

The floor was taken by the national secretary of the Indian National Congress Party, the director general of the IIJI, the secretary general of the All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association who is member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), the vice-president of Rajasthan University, the director general of the ARIJI and others.

The speakers said that Kim Il Sung who embarked upon the road of revolution in his early years founded the immortal Juche idea, applied the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance in practice and thus turned the DPRK into a socialist country centred on the popular masses.

They praised General Secretary Kim Jong Il for pursuing his original Songun politics, thereby shattering all challenges of the imperialists and their moves for aggression and putting the DPRK on the position of a nuclear weapons state and the state capable of manufacturing and launching satellite.

The revolutionary spirit of self-reliance is clearly indicating the road to be followed by the people of developing countries, they noted, stressing the need for mankind to hold high the banner of the Juche idea which reliably guarantees the independent development of each country and the world peace.

A letter to the dear respected Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
