Radioactive Water Flows into Sea from Fukushima Nuclear Plant

| Pyongyang, March 30 (KCNA) -- Water contaminated with highly concentrated radioactive substances flew from the crippled Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant of Japan. The water leaked from a pipe in the plant flew into sea, Tokyo Electric Power Co. said on Monday. Each cubic centimeter of the contaminated water contained about 140,000 Bq of radioactive strontium and the amount of the leaked water was estimated to be almost 120 metric tons. |
