Japan's Chief Executive Denounced for Distorting Past Crimes: S. Koreans
Pyongyang, March 30 (KCNA) -- Yun Mi Hyang, permanent representative of the council for a solution to the issue of the volunteers corps in south Korea and its co-representative Han Kuk Yom issued a statement on March 27 denouncing the Japanese chief executive for distorting past crimes committed by Japan.

The Japanese prime minister said at a budget committee of the House of Councilors on March 26 that the expression "sexual slavery of Japanese army" is incorrect, the statement noted.

Officials of the Japanese government including the prime minister have vied with each other to instigate the right-wing reactionaries in Japan to kick up reckless acts against history and human rights, while distorting the essence of the past crimes, it said.

The statement urged Japan to open to public at an early date all information related to the sexual slavery system, admit the past crimes and make a formal apology and reparation for them.

The Lee Myung Bak "government" should urge Japan to make legal reparation, regarding the reckless behavior of the Japanese prime minister as a serious issue, it noted.
