The work, published on March 31, Juche 71 (1982), clarifies the immortal ideological and theoretical feats of President Kim Il Sung who founded the Juche idea and scientifically. It also theoretically systematizes the original principles and contents of the Juche idea.

Present there were Kim Yong Nam, Choe Yong Rim, Ri Yong Ho and other senior party, state and army officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of the party, armed forces and power bodies, social organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, officials in the fields of science, education, literature and arts, public health and media, persons of distinguished services and working people in the city, overseas compatriots and the chief of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.

All the participants paid silent tribute to Kim Jong Il in the humblest reverence.

Kim Ki Nam, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, delivered a report at the meeting.

He said the work of Kim Jong Il is a monumental masterpiece to go down in the history of world politics in the light of the revolutionary and original character of the ideological and theoretical contents, philosophical depth and great theoretical and practical significance, and the library of the Juche idea which indicates the most correct way for carving out the destiny of the popular masses.

The past several decades since the publication of the work are a history of victory in which Kim Jong Il led the WPK, the army and the people, weathering all sorts of tempests of history, and thus made an undying contribution to the revolutionary cause of Juche and the cause of global independence, the reporter noted, and went on:

Kim Jong Il steadily developed the Juche idea, Songun idea with profound principles and original contents in conformity with new requirements of revolutionary practice in our era and built the DPRK into a dignified political and ideological power and military power.

The reporter called upon all the party members, service personnel and people to hold Kim Jong Il in high esteem for all ages and glorify his immortal revolutionary idea and feats forever, bearing in minds the unwavering belief that he will always be alive with them.
