The Switzerland-Korea Committee in the article titled "100-Year History of Kim Il Sung's Korea" said the Day of the Sun this year will be a significant day marking the centenary of the birth of Kim Il Sung, the greatest man the Korean people acclaimed for the first time in the nation's history spanning 5 000 years.

The Korean people and the progressive humankind boundlessly admire him as the father of the nation and the sun of Juche, the article said.

It introduced in detail that he founded the Juche idea and Songun idea, won national liberation and led to victory the building of a new country, the Fatherland Liberation War, post-war rehabilitation and socialist construction.

The Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea posted a similar article.

The Brazilian Center for the Study of the Juche Idea dealt with undying feats by the President, who devoted his all to prosperity of the country and well-being of his people all his life, in an article titled "The Centenary of the Birth of President Kim Il Sung."
