The article said the south Korean authorities egged the joint investigation team on to produce torpedo "No. 1" which was no more than scrap iron as powerful evidence in a bid to pass the buck for the case to the north and escalate confrontation.

The torpedo "No. 1", however, was just a fabrication whose falsity was proven by several experts, the article noted, and went on:

The "government" and conservative media of south Korea still echo the same allegation they used to make two years ago.

What is deplorable is that logical discussion is impossible in south Korea and the "government" and conservative forces still go on the rampage, labeling those who raise reasonable questions as leftist forces.

It is necessary to probe who ordered to cook up the evidence and who made a false conclusion.
