Kim Il Sung founded the Juche idea, the Songun idea, making it possible for the Korean revolution to win victory after victory despite unprecedentedly stern and complicated trials and providing progressive mankind with a powerful ideological and theoretical weapon for national liberation and struggle against imperialism.

He energetically worked for developing the progressive movements for independence against imperialism including the socialist movement and non-aligned movement.

He regarded the aspiration and desire of the people as a starting point of his thinking and practice and a basis for shaping all lines and policies and solved issues by giving play to their creative efforts.

The image of Kim Il Sung, who paved the path for accomplishing global independence, will be cherished in the minds of the progressive people.
