He went round Huichon power Stations No. 1 and No. 2 which were built as grand structures of the Songun era by devoted efforts of soldiers and builders.

He toured various places including generator room, taking stock of the actual conditions of power generation, transmission and supply. He called for technological control of equipment under scrupulous plans.

Also visiting the Huichon Precision Machine Plant he learned about the production and took steps for the plant to positively introduce advanced technology in production and for relevant units to sufficiently provide necessary materials to the plant.
