Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- During the 100 days after the demise of leader Kim Jong Il, national and local art troupes had energetically carried on art performances encouraging servicepersons and civilians to implement his behests. The Unhasu Orchestra made performance tours of local areas, including Hamhung and Huichon cities, with the New Year concert "The Cause of the Sun Will Be Immortal". The grand performance "We Will Be Loyal Down through Generations" and the Unhasu concert "The Hearts Following the Sun", given to commemorate Kim Jong Il's 70th birth anniversary, made the people harden their determination to remain faithful to the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un. The concert "The Women Are Flowers" was also given by the Unhasu Orchestra on the International Women's Day, with Kim Jong Un in attendance. After giving the music and dance performance "We Will Eternally Uphold Our Supreme Commander" in the beginning of the year, military artists had carried on performance activities in army units and at construction sites across the country. Art performances were given at the Pyongyang Thermal Power Station, Mansudae area housing project, Pukchang Thermal Power Station and major factories by the Mansudae Art Troupe, Phibada Opera Troupe, National Folk Art Troupe, National Theatrical Troupe and Pyongyang Circus.
