Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association released a joint statement on March 17 in support of the DPRK's planned launch of satellite. The DPRK will launch Kwangmyongsong-3 on the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung, the statement said, and continued: This event of special mention will more significantly decorate the Day of the Sun and strikingly demonstrate the might of the DPRK, independent socialist country. The launch of this satellite will signify a great victory of the Juche idea, the Songun idea and the independent national economy of the DPRK. It will serve as a valuable gift of the Korean people to the centenary of the birth of Kim Il Sung. Some countries are finding faults with the DPRK's plan for satellite launch. Why the DPRK's space plan should be considered as controversial though no one took issue with the U.S. space development? As it is an exercise of the sovereign right for the DPRK to launch a satellite, it allows no one to interfere in it. |
