Nepali Personages Denounce U.S. and Its Followers' Moves against DPRK

Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- Basanta Kumar Shrestha, chairman of the International Committee for the Study of Songun Politics for Peaceful Reunification of Korea in Nepal, and its vice-chairman released a joint statement on March 27 denouncing the U.S. and its followers' moves against the DPRK's plan for satellite launch.

We strongly demand the U.S. and its followers stop useless and irresponsible accusation against a sovereign state, they said, and continued:

It is an exercise of a legitimate right as a sovereign state for the DPRK to launch a satellite on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung.

We vehemently condemn any act contrary to such noble cause.

It is foolish to force the DPRK to give up its plan.

We demand the U.S. and its followers stop at once the provocations against such sovereign states as the DPRK.
