The symposium was divided into panels of internal medicine, surgery, Koryo medicine, hygienic and anti-epidemic work, and basic and pharmacy medicine.

The participants heard more than 530 papers dealing with the successes gained by scientists, teachers researchers in the field of public health and medical workers in their researches.

Many papers were highly appreciated by the participants for their great clinical importance and value in practice.
