The factory will contribute to the agricultural production, greening and environmental protection.

Equipped with outdoor loading site and mixing, maturation and production places in the area covering more than 23 000 square meters, the factory will mass-produce quality organic fertilizer with the use of mud from River Pothong, sewage deposit and soot in a comprehensive manner.

Present at the ceremony were Premier Choe Yong Rim, Mun Kyong Dok, secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea and chief secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, Ri Kyong Sik, minister of Agriculture, Hwang Hak Won, minister of Urban Management, officials concerned, employees of the factory and other people in the city.
