The concert began with orchestral music "Song of General Kim Il Sung", immortal revolutionary hymn, and "We Pledge", fourth movement of Symphony "The Leader Is Always with Us".

It sang high praises of the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on behalf of the times, history and national reunification.

Concerto for violin "Nostalgia", immortal masterpiece, and orchestral music "Footsteps" were highly applauded by the audience.

Solo "My Dear Motherland" and other numbers which reflected the Koreans' patriotism and desire for reunification caught the particular interest of the audience,

Among the audience were Korean residents in the U.S., members of the DPRK permanent mission at the UN, diplomatic envoys of many countries and other foreigners.
