Officials of the North Headquarters of Pomminryon said that Ro Su Hui expressed the faith and will of the south Korean people to hold in high esteem leader Kim Jong Il as the eternal father of the nation by participating in the memorial for commemorating the 100th day since his demise.

They noted that Ro's visit is patriotic deed that contributed to preserving and implementing the historic June 15 joint declaration and October 4 declaration, its practical programme.

They extended full support and solidarity to the members of the South Headquarters of Pomminryon and patriotic people who are carrying on the struggle for democracy of the society and the reunification of the country while smashing the treacherous and anti-reunification moves of the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors.

Ro Su Hui said that the compatriots in the north warmly welcomed him with compatriotic feelings.

He called for strengthening the alliance among the south, the north and abroad sides of Pomminryon for implementing the south-north joint declarations and thus contributing to opening up a new phase of independent reunification.
