Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- Figures of an international organization, France and Indonesia released statements between March 29 and 31 in support of the DPRK's plan for launching working satellite Kwangmyongsong-3. The director general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea said that the DPRK's projected satellite launch is an exercise of the independent and legitimate right pursuant to international law on the peaceful use of space. He went on: The U.S. claim that the DPRK's satellite launch for peaceful purposes is a challenge to world peace is aimed to wantonly violate the September 19 joint statement and the spirit of respect for sovereignty and equality of the DPRK-U.S. agreement based on it. I urge the U.S. to discard the biased stand which stemmed from inveterate enmity and hostile policy toward the DPRK and stop at once all acts of opposing the DPRK's satellite launch for the peaceful use of space. The chairman of the Anti-Imperialist Front of France said that it is unacceptable and clear double standards for the U.S. and other Western countries to term the DPRK's satellite launch a missile launch and "a violation of UNSC resolution." The manager of Milenia Armada Express Company of Indonesia said that Kwangmyogsong-3, an earth observation satellite, will contribute to the peaceful use of space and scientific and technological development of mankind. |
