To be screened at cinemas and cultural centers in Pyongyang and other parts of the country during the period will be documentary films on revolutionary histories of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. They will include "President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il Were Always Together on the Road for the Well-Being of the People", "Led By Great Brilliant Commander" and "Care Shown to Make Their Lives Shine".

Feature films will include "Star of Korea", "The Sun of the Nation", "My Country", "Longing for the Sunshine", "Mt. Paektu" and "A Photograph".

An opening ceremony was held at the People's Palace of Culture on Friday.

Attending it were Kim Ki Nam and other officials concerned.

Minister of Culture An Tong Chun made an opening address.
