Russian FM Opposes Sanctions, Military Attack on Iran

| Moscow, April 7 (KCNA) --The Russian government opposes fresh sanctions and military attack on Iran, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said when answering questions put by teachers of a university recently. The U.S., the West, Japan and other countries are trying to impose unilateral fresh sanctions on Iran, Lavrov said, adding this is intolerable. He said that a preemptive attack is banned by the UN Charter and there can be no military solution to the Iranian issue. |
