State Radio reported that he made every possible effort to reunify Korea.

A bright prospect was opened for Korea's reunification thanks to Kim Il Sung, the radio noted. He is always alive in the hearts of the Korean people and progressive mankind and his feats will shine forever.

F.M. 90.5 Radio aired a similar program.

Another radio and AKP News Agency noted that the DPRK turned into a powerful socialist state, independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence, in a short span of time under the wise leadership of the President.

The DPRK could invariably uphold the banner of socialism and make a leap forward to a high eminence of a thriving socialist nation thanks to the powerful foundation and potentials provided by the President, the news agency stressed.
