The Korean people and the progressives the world over are now calling back with deep emotion on the 100-year history of Korea shining with the great august name of the President who made great contributions to the human cause of independence, the statement said, and went on:

The President opened up a new era of Juche Korea and performed the undying feats which will go down in human history with his profound ideas and theories and gigantic revolutionary practices, being possessed of the outstanding leadership ability and noble virtue.

Also recorded in the history of Kim Il Sung's nation shining with victory and glory is the sacred revolutionary history of leader Kim Jong Il who led the Korean people along an ever-victorious path by inheriting the idea and leadership of the President.

We are convinced that the Korean people will firmly defend the sovereignty of the country and certainly achieve the revolutionary cause of Juche and the cause of national reunification, rallied close around the dear respected Kim Jong Un.
