Its releasing ceremony took place at the People's Palace of Culture Tuesday in the joint name of the Central Committee of the DPRK-China Friendship Association and the China-Korea Friendship Association.

Wu Donghe, chairman of the China-Korea Friendship Association, created the "Hymn of Friendship" in praise of the greatness of Kim Il Sung and general secretary Kim Jong Il.

Wu had the honor of being received by Kim Jong Il several times and has made positive efforts for the development of the friendly relations between the DPRK and China.

Present at the ceremony were Kim Jong Suk, chairwoman of the Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Choe Kyong Guk, director and editor-in-chief of the Foreign Languages Publishing House, Kim Jin Bom, vice-chairman of the Committee who doubles as vice-chairman of the C.C., the DPRK-China Friendship Association, and others.

Also present there were the delegation of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the China-Korea Friendship Association headed by the chairman of the friendship association, Liu Hongcai, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and others.

Speeches were made there.
