A ceremony of conveying the prize and certificate took place in Nigeria on March 31.

Present there were personages from the African Peace Fund, the preparatory committee for awarding the African peace prize to celebrate the centenary of the birth of the President, members of Senate of Nigeria, personages from all walks of life and masses in Udi Kingdom, Enugu State.

Present on invitation were staff members of the DPRK embassy in Lagos and members of the DPRK technical cooperation group working in the country.

The international chairman of the African Peace Fund in the meeting praised Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un who performed great feats for the Korean revolution and human cause of independence.

The chairman of the preparatory committee for awarding the African peace prize to celebrate the centenary of the birth of the President said that awarding the African peace prize and certificate to the great men of Mt. Paektu is an expression of deep reverence of the Nigerian people and the world progressives for them who made great contributions to ensuring the peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and the rest of the world.
