The work, published on September 7, 1981, clarifies that adhering to independence in the party and state activities is a requirement of the present era and that the Juche idea is philosophy centered on man.

A ceremony of releasing the work took place in Moscow on April 5.

Meanwhile Kim Il Sung's collection of works "Three Charters for National Reunification" was published by the Pretoria Copy Master Publishing House of South Africa.

The Three Charters for National Reunification are the three principles of national reunification, the 10-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo.
