On the first page it carried the portrait of a smiling President and under it an introductory note reading "The Korean people and world progressive mankind are greeting centenary of the birth of Comrade Kim Il Sung, the eternal President of the DPRK, on April 15, 2012".

The paper devoted several pages to articles titled "Nation's leader, people's son", "Great heart devoted to the world" and "Whole life devoted to the people" with photos of the President, Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un in their revolutionary activities.

Also edited there were photos introducing gifts on display at the International Friendship Exhibition House, a long epic and song presented by a Russian composer to the centenary of the birth of the President.

The Bangladeshi paper Natun Bangla on April 2 dedicated two whole pages to articles titled "Centenary of the Birth of President Kim Il Sung", "Eternal sun", "Great man Kim Il Sung" and "People's leader" with the portrait of a smiling President and a photo of the President standing together with Kim Jong Il.

The Tanzanian paper Mwananchi on April 1 carried an article headlined "Centenary of birth of HE President Kim Il Sung" with his portrait.

The April issue of the German paper Rote Fahne edited an article titled "President Kim Il Sung and 100 years" with his photo.
