A ceremony of conveying the certificate of the citizenship took place on April 5.

Present there were officials of the administration of the city, citizens and the DPRK ambassador to Nigeria and staff members of his embassy.

The governor of the city handed the certificate over to the ambassador.

The governor said that it is their obligation and honor to present the title of the honorary citizen to the President, who made a great contribution to the prosperity of the DPRK and the cause of global peace, on the occasion of the centenary of his birth.
