The adoption of the Pyongyang Declaration injected vitality into the struggle to revive the international socialist movement, the statement said.

The situation proves the validity of the Pyongyang Declaration, it noted, adding that it is clear that to advance along the road of socialism under the banner of the Pyongyang Declaration is the way of hewing out the bright future of mankind.

Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania, in a statement on April 5 said that to defend and triumphantly advance the socialist cause is the just cause to realize independence of the popular masses and it is the irresistible law of historical development for mankind to advance toward socialism.

Parties desiring and building socialism should strengthen mutual support and solidarity, he said, stressing that the Pyongyang Declaration is demonstrating its great vitality and serving as the banner of the progressive parties.

The Socialist Party of Romania will conduct all its activities regarding the idea of the Pyongyang Declaration as the guidelines, and always support and encourage the struggle of the Korean people, he noted.
