Otete Gaston Mboyo, deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Democratic Congo, in a statement on April 6 said that the life of the President who devoted himself to the freedom and happiness of the people and global independence is always remembered by the people of Democratic Congo.

He went on:

The President founded the immortal Juche idea in his early years, providing the world revolutionary people with a weapon of struggle and treasured sword for victory.

The world progressive people can win one victory after another only when they follow the revolutionary idea of the President and apply it into their actual conditions.

Yuri Castro Romero, secretary general of the Peruvian－Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship, in a statement on the same day extended glory to the President who indicated the way for the Korean people and the progressive people to follow in their struggle and made immortal contributions to global independence.

The secretary general of the Union Solidarity and Development Party, Union of Myanmar in a statement on April 3 noted that it is thanks to the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il, successor to the idea and cause of the President, that the DPRK has turned into an indestructible political and ideological power which has achieved the single-minded unity and a nuclear weapons state and a military power which no enemy dares provoke.

The secretary general expressed full support and solidarity with the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people in their struggle to build a thriving nation and reunify the country.

The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in a joint statement on April 2 noted that a century since the birth of the President was a history of victory and glory and a history of unprecedented advance for the Korean people, adding that he would always be alive in the hearts of mankind.
