Present on invitation at the banquet were Vishwanath, director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea (IIJI) who doubles as secretary general of the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council, Kenichi Ogami, secretary general of the IIJI, and other participants in the congress.

Present there were Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) who doubles as chairman of the Social Scientists Society of Korea, Kim Yong Il, secretary of the C.C., the WPK, Pak Ui Chun, minister of Foreign Affairs, Kim Jong Suk, chairwoman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, and other officials concerned.

Kim Ki Nam said in his speech that the world congress was a great political festival which called back with deep emotion the exploits of Kim Il Sung and strikingly demonstrated the validity and vitality of the Juche idea to the whole world once again.

He went on:

The Juche idea founded by Kim Il Sung and enriched and developed by General Secretary Kim Jong Il shines as great guiding idea of the era of independence thanks the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

He wished the adherents to the Juche idea making efforts to build a new independent world and extending support and encouragement to the Korean people's just cause greater success in their work.

Vishwanath, in his speech said:

The successful holding of the World Congress on the Juche Idea is a token of boundless reverence for President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

The great President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il still lead the vigorous advance of the cause of independence upon Juche orbit, by illuminating the way ahead of the Juche idea followers.

The continuity and completion of the Juche revolutionary cause, the people's cause of independence, is firmly guaranteed now by respected H.E. Kim Jong Un.
