Korean People, Joyful at Kim Jong Un's Election as NDC First Chairman

| Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- The news that the dear respected Kim Jong Un was elected first chairman of the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK at the 5th Session of the 12th Supreme People's Assembly has driven the people throughout the country to an ecstasy of joy. A department director of the Ministry of Mining Industry, Kim Jong Hun, told KCNA: "Kim Jong Un's election as NDC first chairman is the greatest fortune of the Korean people. Always finding himself together with General Secretary Kim Jong Il in guiding the Songun (military-first) revolution, he made distinguished contributions to bolstering the Korean People's Army and developing the ammunitions industry." Cha Yong Je, a section chief of the Ministry of Culture, said: "The Korean people have keenly felt that Kim Jong Un is, indeed, the great leader of the DPRK. With lofty fidelity and strong sense of moral obligation, he has wisely guided the work of perpetuating the memory of Kim Jong Il. He is also inspiring all the people to build a thriving nation while defending the country by dint of Songun." |
