The election of Kim Jong Un to the top post of the DPRK represents the highest honor for all the Korean people as it signifies the successful realization of their unanimous aspiration and wishes and a great event in the history of the nation as it makes it possible to glorify forever the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung in the nation-building and immortal leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il along with the prosperous homeland.

Kim Jong Un represents the life and future of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan and is their tender-hearted father, the letter stressed.

It evinced the resolution of the Koreans in Japan to single-mindedly unite around Kim Jong Un and usher in a new heyday of Chongryon as instructed by Kim Jong Il, cherishing the great national pride and self-esteem of having been blessed with the President and the leader generation after generation.
