Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- The Kim Jong Suk Library in Peru and the Peruvian People's Women Union issued a joint special bulletin on April 5 to mark the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung. The bulletin carried an article with the portrait of a smiling President and photos of the three commanders of Mt. Paektu. The article said: The President was born at Mangyongdae, Pyongyang on April 15, 1912 and grew up to be an ardent patriot and great revolutionary, receiving patriotic education from his parents. He founded the immortal Juche idea by creatively applying the precedent theories of the working class to the changed situation. He defeated the formidable U.S. and Japanese imperialist enemies, defended the independence and sovereignty of the country and laid a firm foundation for Juche-based socialism in the DPRK. He also put forward the Juche-based line of building the party and the state and thoroughly implemented it, thus strengthening the DPRK into the beacon of the world revolution and the indestructible socialist fortress. The ideological, theoretical and leadership feats performed by him will be immortal along with the eternal sun. |
