Kim Il Sung's Feats for National Reunification Introduced by Regional Organization

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- The International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions on April 5 posted on its Internet website an article titled "Great programme produced by Juche-based revolutionary idea". The article was written to mark the 19th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's the work "10-Point Programme of the Great Unity of the Whole Nation for the Reunification of the Country".

The President devoted his whole life to bringing the reunified country to the Korean people and indicated the way of national reunification, the article said, and went on:

The world paid close attention to the DPRK after hearing the news that the Fifth Session of the Ninth Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK would be held in April 1993.

In those days a state of semi-war was declared in the DPRK and the DPRK government issued its statement that it would withdraw from the NPT. But "10-Point Programme of the Great Unity of the Whole Nation for the Reunification of the Country" was made public at the session, beyond people's imagination.

The ten-point programme clarifies the general aim for great national unity and the basis of the idea and principle as well as ways and all other issues for national unity.

The President indicated the idea of great unity of the whole nation, irrespective of differing ideology, social system and religious belief and thoroughly applied it.
