The charge d'affaires ad interim of the DPRK embassy in Moscow said that Kim Il Sung performed immortal feats before the era and the revolution, the country and the people with his outstanding idea and theory and gigantic revolutionary practice.

Extending warm congratulations to the Korean people celebrating the centenary of the birth of the President, the first director of the Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia said that the Russian people have remembered the great contribution he made to the establishment and development of the friendly relations between the two countries.

Yazov, minister of Defense of the former Soviet Union, noted that Kim Il Sung was the great revolutionary who embarked on the road of the revolution in his early years, wisely led the armed struggle against the colonial rule by the Japanese imperialists and opened a wide road of building a new society for the Korean people.

Thanks to the independent politics of Kim Il Sung, the DPRK has demonstrated its dignity and might as the full-fledged nuclear weapons state, he added.
