The appeal said that Kim Il Sung founded the Juche idea, illumining the way for building a new world free from all kinds of domination, subordination, exploitation and oppression and setting a good example of the national liberation struggle in colonies and the construction of independent and sovereign state, thereby performing great exploits which will shine in history forever for the happiness and prosperity of the Korean people and humankind.

General Secretary Kim Jong Il who carried forward the cause of the sun reliably safeguarded peace and stability of the world with his original Songun politics, led the socialist cause and human cause of independence and made devoted services to make the 100th birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung an occasion for bringing the prosperity of Korea and the great auspicious event of the Korean people and the world progressives, it added.

The participants, witnessing the stirring situation in which the history of the great sun continues century after century, are convinced that Kim Il Sung's Korea will further prosper in the new Juche 100-year and the human cause of independence will certainly be realized in the 21st century, it said.

It called for holding in high esteem as the eternal sun of mankind the peerlessly great men who ushered in a new era of independence and guided the sacred cause for the freedom and happiness of the people and world peace and prosperity.

It appealed to conduct more vigorous solidarity movement to support the DPRK, stronghold and fortress of independence and peace, and accomplish without fail global independence along a road of independence and justice illumined by the sun.

It stressed Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il would always live in the hearts of mankind and their noble august names and immortal feats would shine long in history.
