Conspicuous among the photos on display was a photo of Kim Il Sung and former U.S. President Jimmy Carter aboard an excursion boat, when the latter was paying a visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in June Juche 83 (1994).

A luncheon began on the boat.

Carter was astonished to see that the menu was prepared with dishes he liked.

With broad smile on his face, the President said the menu excluded bean food. Carter questioned to the President how he knew that he was allergenic to bean. Then he smilingly answered that he knew all in the world.

When the boat was approaching Nampho Port, Jimmy Carter, pointing to silos on the land, asked the President about them.

The President carefully explained to him about the silos.

Carter expressed admiration for his knowledge, saying there would be no head of state throughout the world who knew about even small silos.
