President Kim Il Sung's Feats Praised by Mongolian and Guinean Papers

Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- Mongolian and Guinean papers carried special write-ups with portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung to mark his birth anniversary. The April 9 issue of a Mongolian paper devoted 13 pages to a special write-up under the title "Immortal Feats of President Kim Il Sung", carrying photos of the great persons of Mt. Paektu. The paper said that the President embarked on the road of the revolution in his early years, founded the Juche idea, Songun idea, defeated the U.S. and Japanese imperialisms and turned the DPRK into a socialist power. The President clarified the fundamental ways for the independent and peaceful reunification of the country, opening a bright prospect for the country's reunification, the paper noted, and went on: Many works published by the President are precious ideological and mental pabulum and an inspiring banner for the progressives. The President received orders, medals, honorary titles and gifts from governments, political parties and organizations of many countries of the world and people from all walks of life. And there are many organizations, institutions and streets named after him. The April 3 issue of the Guinean paper Horoya carried an article with photos of peerlessly great men in their revolutionary activities. It said that the President supported materially and morally the people of different countries in their struggle to achieve the independence of the country and the nation and build a new society, and performed great feats to develop and strengthen the non-aligned movement. |
