Friendship Order First Class was awarded to Viktor Petrov, chairman of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, Sumiko Shimizu, representative of the Japanese Women's Society for Solidarity with the Korean Women, and Ekan Ikeguchi, high priest of Saifukuji-Temple of Japan, and Friendship Order Second Class to 30 for their support and solidarity to the Korean people.

Friendship Medal went to 39 people of different countries and regions.

A ceremony for awarding the order and medal took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Monday.

Present there were Vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly Yang Hyong Sop, and others.
