The ensemble is made up of six players, all of them being international concours winners. Five of them are in twenties. They were highly appreciated at several international concours.

At the Saturday performance for the 28th Art Festival under way in Pyongyang, the ensemble won high acclamation from the audience for its wonderful performance.

A member of the ensemble, Poliyenko Maxim Nikolayevich successfully played Korean song "Do Prosper, My Motherland" with high artistry, giving deep impression on the audience.

Andrei Valeriyevich, head of the ensemble, told KCNA:

Korean people warmly welcomed us to Pyongyang. During the stay in the city we have got deep impressions from a lot of things.

The music hall of Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun Conservatory is equipped with all necessary facilities. I toured conservatories in Germany and Spain, but they are not as amazing as this conservatory.

The DPRK government has deep interest in the arts.
