The instrumental music, interwoven with nimble virtuosity and fascinating sounds, gripped the audience by their hearts from the outset.

The ensemble had paid big efforts to preparing the performance. After arrival in Pyongyang for the festival, it adopted the said song as its performance piece and practiced it day and night.

As a result, the piece was finished with success to sing highly of the greatness of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

The ensemble also presented to the festival famous foreign musical pieces.

It won gold medals at international accordion concours held in Italy and Poland.

The head of the ensemble told KCNA that the April Spring Friendship Art Festival is very big in scale and has a long tradition and that it is a stage of friendship involving many musicians.
