The festival demonstrated the fixed faith and great enthusiasm of school youth and children to glorify the revolutionary exploits performed by the peerlessly great persons for all ages and greet this year as one of proud victory when an era of prosperity is unfolding.

It was divided into political, economic, art and sports festivals held by organizations of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League at all levels. Pyongyang came first in group standings at the festival.

Commendations of the C.C., the youth league, trophy cups, silk banners, etc. were awarded to organizations which proved successful at the festival.
