Unhasu Orchestra's Performance Goes on at People's Theater

Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- Performance "Let Us Not Forget the Pledge Made to the Revolution" given by the Unhasu Orchestra continues at the People's Theater in Pyongyang on its opening. Among the audience were scientists and technicians in Pyongyang on Friday. The performance began with the playing of the national anthem. Prelude "Let Us Not Forget the Pledge Made to the Revolution", orchestral music and chorus immortal famous masterpiece "Song of Anti-Japanese War", etc., sang high praises of the revolutionary career of President Kim Il Sung and his undying exploits. The audience keenly realized that the Korean nation could end the nation's bitter history of distress and enjoy the highest dignity as they were led by the President in such numbers as mixed vocal quartet and chorus "Song Devoted to Marshal Kim Il Sung" and female vocal solo and female pangchang "I Know it Now". Also put on the stage were numbers vividly portraying the Korean people who have led worthwhile and happy life under the care of Kim Jong Il. Children presented vocal quartet "We Are Happy", vocal duet "Rainbow over Mangyongdae", piano and song "Glory to Father Marshal" and chorus "Let Us Become the General's Soldiers", delighting the audience. Decorating the stage were chorus "Let Korea Advance", immortal revolutionary paean "Song of General Kim Il Sung" which reflected the revolutionary enthusiasm of the army and people to become loyal comrades and comrade-in-arms of the dear respected Kim Jong Un and glorify the DPRK as the country of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il forever.
