Kim Jong Un's Election to Top Post of DPRK Hailed as Special Event

| Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- Meetings for adopting congratulatory messages and other meetings and film shows took place in Russia, Democratic Congo, Congo, Italy and Zambia between April 12 and 15 congratulating the Korean people on holding leader Kim Jong Il in high esteem as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea forever and electing the dear respected Kim Jong Un to the top post of the WPK and the state. Participants of the film shows watched Korean film "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation" and others. The director of the Protocol Department of the Russian Centre for the International Scientific and Technological Bulletins said that the WPK will victoriously lead the Korean people in their struggle to build a thriving nation as it is having Kim Jong Un at the top post of the party. Boswa Isekombe Sylvere, general secretary of the Communist Party of Democratic Congo, stressed that Kim Jong Un's election as first secretary of the WPK is an event of special mention as it provided a guarantee for carrying forward and accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche and promised a bright future of the Korean people. Mauro Cazadio, general secretary of the Struggle for the Peace and Socialism of Italy, noted that only victory and glory are in store for the Korean people who are advancing under the leadership of Kim Jong Un. Congratulatory messages and letters to him were adopted at the events in Congo, Democratic Congo and Zambia. |
