Xing San Daily of Thailand on April 6 devoted its one whole page to an article titled "DPRK, inheritance of socialist cause", which said:

The President founded the Juche idea and the Songun idea, providing a guiding ideology to socialist Korea, paving a wide avenue for socialist development and building a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence in the land of Korea.

Leader Kim Jong Il regarded it as his lifelong mission to accomplish the revolutionary cause pioneered by the President and dynamically advanced the socialist cause as thought and intended by him.

Respected Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un is now standing at the helm of the Korean revolution.

The Korean people will carry forward and accomplish the socialist cause under his leadership.

The April issue of the Bulgarian paper Iskra carried special articles titled "Founder of socialist Korea," "Giant in 20th century," etc. under the bannerline title "Centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung". The articles introduced the President's ideological and theoretical exploits and his feats in party, army and nation building.

The Ethiopian paper Reporter on April 7 carried an article titled "Kim Il Sung, shining august name on centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung". The article said that his august name means the sun, adding that it is shining as a symbol of national liberation and the era of independence and a banner of eternal victory.

The Iranian paper Iran News and the Malaysian paper Guang Ming Daily on April 9 praised the leadership traits of the President and reported about the grand celebrations of the centenary of his birth.
