The Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea said in a statement:

It is great honor for us to celebrate the centenary of the birth of the President together with the Korean people.

The President fathered the Juche idea, rallying the Korean people as a driving force for revolution, and liberated Korea and founded the independent DPRK.

He built a socialist power of Juche in Korea by successfully applying the Juche idea and encouraged progressive mankind to wage a dynamic struggle for global independence under the banner of the Juche idea.

His august name and feats will always be remembered not only by the Korean people but by the Juche idea followers and the progressives.

The chairman of the Addis Ababa Youth Association of Ethiopia in a statement praised the President for his contribution to developing the Korean youth movement. He noted:

The Korean people and youth could always take the road of victory and glory under the leadership of such great leaders as the President and Kim Jong Il.

I am firmly convinced that the Korean people and youth will build a thriving nation without fail under the Songun revolutionary leadership of respected H.E. Kim Jong Un.
