An aim sought by the U.S. is to make "threats" from the DPRK a fait accompli and justify its MD moves for world domination, says Rodong Sinmun Monday in a bylined article.

The U.S. says that the global MD is to thwart missile attacks from the DPRK and Iran but this is just a lame excuse, the paper says, and goes on:

The U.S. deployed interceptor missiles in Poland and Romania and radar in Turkey and Aegis in Spain as part of its moves to establish MD in the whole of Europe allegedly to ward off missiles from the DPRK and Iran. This does not stand to reason. The U.S. is even thinking expanding missile defense network as far as Australia from Alaska encompassing south Korea and Japan. This is sophism which can convince no one.

The U.S. moves have escalated arms race among big powers, prompting other countries to buckle down to bolstering deterrence.

This has imperiled global peace.

To ensure world peace and stability it is necessary to fundamentally root out threats from the U.S., wrecker of peace.
